The cheapest of the new smartphone is the Galaxy series Y, with touch-screen 3-inch 320x240 resolution, 2.0 megapixel camera, supports Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi n standard, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps. Galaxy Y Battery 1200mAh standard and works on Android 2.3 platform.

 

2 remaining products have more robust configurations, including Galaxy W, with a touch screen 3.7-inch 800x480 resolution, 5 megapixel camera, supports Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi n standard and battery standard 1500mAh. Equipped with 1.4GHz processor and works on Android 2.3 platform.

 

The final product in a series of cheap products is about to be released by Samsung is the Galaxy M Pro, 2.66-inch screen with 480x320 resolution with physical QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera in the back and VGA camera in front . It supports Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi n standard and the standard 1350 mAh battery. Galaxy M Pro is equipped with a 1GHz processor and operating on the Android 2.3 platform.

Samsung spokesman had said: "Samsung is looking to expand in emerging markets with the product sample costs about 200 USD, which is typical in the smartphone market with rates lower than the other advanced markets. "
